People who love music know that there is no substitute for live performance. When you hear music performed "live" you are part of it, your energy inspires the performance, and the musicians are playing to you. The exhilaration of this experience cannot be duplicated by any recording, because a recording happened in the past and is only a one-way communication. The opening of Tasting Notes Jazz Club at Harmony Vineyards presents a rare opportunity for Long Islanders to hear jazz in all its romantic expressive exuberance on a regular basis. I play all over the world, but I live here, and the chance to play every week at home is a dream come true for me. I'm wildly excited, and most grateful, for this wonderful venue at Harmony Vineyards. Come on down and have a taste!
